Trip Grades

According to level of difficulty we have tried to categorize our trips in the following manner:

Leisure tours and trekking, or hiking:
For any physically fit of all ages with sound health, these trips involves short walking days of few hours and more of tour with scenic drives at places of interest. The whole trip goes from 4-5 to 8 days on trek or scenic tour.

Moderate Trips:
For any physically fit of all ages that have done normal walk and with sound health. These trips involves few ups and down's and the length of treks will be from 4-5 hours of walk every day with plenty of break in between. The whole trip goes from 2-5 to 8 days

Adventurous Trips:
For physically fit person of all ages with sound health who have done moderate to vigorous walk or activity before or at present. These kind of treks involves long ups and down's and the length of treks will be from 6-7 hours of walk every day with break in between. These kinds of trips are suitable to regular hill walkers. The whole trip goes from 10 to 20 days in the high altitude. On Rafting it involves river expedition for 7 -10 days.

Extreme / Challenging Trips:
For physically fit person of all ages with sound health who have done moderate to vigorous walk or activity before or at present. These kind of treks involves long ups and down's and the length of treks will be from 7-8 hours of walk every day with break in between. The whole trip goes from 15 to 25 days in the high altitude. These types of trips involves high passes and traverse of over 5,000 meters, sometimes use of ropes, ice axe and crampons are required. So such trips require basic mountaineering skills and use of equipment. A high level of fitness and previous wilderness and mountain experience is required.


High Altitude Trips

The whole trip goes from 15 to 25 days in the high altitude involves, these types of trekking are mainly on high alpine and arctic zone can be extremely cold as per the season chosen like the 3 passes of Khumbu in Everest region, Rolwaling and Tashi Labtsa pass, Mingbo-La or Amphu-Laptsa pass, Around Dhaulagiri, Langtang and Ganja-la or Upper Dolpo area to name a few.

But it can be done by any physically fit person of all ages with sound health who have done moderate to vigorous walk or activity before or at present.
