Our staffs are well versed in Eco-Tourism, Culture / Tradition and Wilderness Medical Course saving the surrounding environment, by taking care of the litter and bringing it back to Kathmandu or disposing at designated dumping place.

Our Mountaineering Guides
Pasang Sherpa:
Born and raised in the laps of high Himalayan region of Jiri Dolkha, (the original and classic way to Everest Base Camp) have led numerous high altitude traverse and over eight thousand meters mountaineering expeditions, climbed several 8,000 meters peaks including Mt. Everest seven times. Pasang Sherpa holds an International Mountain Guide License with his decade of hard work in the mountains from Himalaya to Alps. All our high altitude trekking and expeditions are entrusted to him. Pasang Sherpa a reliable and a professional mountain guide that you can depend on.
Phendan Sherpa:
Another valuable person as a mountain guide is Phendan Sherpa. Like Pasang he has led numerous high altitude trekking and traverse and has climbed several 8,000 meters peaks in the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet including Mt. Everest for six times. Phendan hails from the high land of Khumbu in the Everest region has been with HimEx from a long time.
Kunga Sherpa:
An active person when it comes to mountaineering expeditions, Kunga Sherpa has led countless of high altitude trekking over high passes and climbing expeditions, an summiteers on Mt. Everest and other 8000m peaks in Nepal and Tibet. He has climbed other technical tough 7000 to 8000 meters peaks in his carrier for over three decades, been with HimEx since last 15 years, an expert guide that one can rely on.
Our Trekking Peaks Guides
Trijan Magar:
Born and bred in the Solu-Khumbu district of Everest region has been with HimEX since last 20 years leading groups of all nationalities with a high success on all major trekking peaks like Mera, Island Peak, Pokalde, Lobuche and several other technical climbs in most of the high Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet. All our high altitude trekking and climbing are entrusted to Trijan Magar for his veteran knowledge in high mountains.
Mr. Bishwo Raj Tamang:
Bishwo Tamang, since his teenage years has been working in high altitude trekking profession in Nepal-India and Tibet as a guide, have climbed most of the high major peaks in Nepal-India and in Tibet including Mt. Everest and have participated in the highest marathon run (Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon) from Everest Base Camp to Namche Bazaar. Our entire high altitude trekking and peaks climb are led by Bishwo Raj Tamang for the last 10 years.
Kiran Rai:
Mr. Kiran Rai comes from the Solu-Khumbu region of Everest area has led trekking and climbing groups for the last ten years, a permanent staff of HimEx stationed in Lukla the gate way to Everest has climbed several major peaks and has more challenging mountains to climb in his career.
Our Sardars (Local Head Guides)
Ram Krishna Tamang:
A veteran sardar, a head guide has been leading high altitude trekking and exploration-reconnaissance expeditions since last 30 years, an expert in his job all our special trips are entrusted to Mr. RK for short, one of the record that he hails is that he has participated in Sports Aid Race in 1987 reaching at Everest Base Camp from Kathmandu Sport Stadium in 5 ½ days, a unique record so far.
Chet Gurung:
Another veteran sardar, has been leading high altitude trekking and exploration-reconnaissance expeditions since last 25 years, an expert in his job all our special trips are entrusted to Chet Gurung, most of the remote and new region trips in Nepal are led by Chet Gurung who comes from the heart of Annapurna and Manaslu range of mountains.
Karma Lama:
A professional head guide and a sardar been with HimEx since last 25 years, comes from a mountain village in far Eastern Nepal is a familiar name to repeated trekkers visiting Nepal and Tibet.
Our Trek / Bike Leaders
Rishi Raj Limbu:
Mountaineering, Trekking Guide and as well a Leader by profession comes from the east of Nepal of world’s third highest mountain Kanchenjunga has led countless of trekking-mountain biking in his 20 years of carrier, a regular trekking leader with HimEx since last 7 years.
Pramod Shrestha:
Pramod has been a very popular and familiar name among the Mountain Biking Groups visiting Nepal and Tibet. Pramod has led over 25 trips from Lhasa to Kathmandu and countless trips in Nepal. Because of his expertise and ever smiling nature, Pramod has been liked by all our clients.
‘Ricky’ Rikesh Yonzon:
Ricky, since his teenage years has been working in high altitude trekking profession in Nepal-India and Tibet as a trekking and a mountain bike leader, have led trekking as well as mountain biking groups over high pass Thorang-la at 5,415 meters 6 times, have participated in the highest marathon run (Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon) from Everest Base Camp to Namche Bazaar. Our high altitude trekking and mountain biking trips are led by Ricky for the last 10 years.
Santosh Lama:
Santosh Lama, a dedicated expert trekking leader comes from a trekking environment family has been with HimEx since last 10 years. He has led countless of trekking in Nepal-Tibet and in India and has participated in the highest marathon run (Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon) from Everest Base Camp to Namche Bazaar. Our high altitude trekking are led by Santosh Lama.
Our Cooks
Amrit Rai:
An amazing cook who can deliver delicious meals even in high latitude region of Himalaya be it in Nepal or Tibet, Amrit Rai the Chef can do wonders in his kitchen tents with its junior apprentices. Mr. Rai has been with HimEx since last 15 years and have trekked in all the Himalayan region Nepal-India and in Tibet.
Ratan Tamang:
A cheerful veteran cook who can deliver delicious meals even in high latitude region of Himalaya be it in Nepal or Tibet. Ratan Tamang can do wonders in his kitchen tents with its junior staff and has been pleasing our guests on different trips from last 30 years. He has trekked in all the Himalayan region Nepal-India and in Tibet.
June Tamang:
Another expertise in our trekking kitchen department, a cook with magic hands who can deliver delicious meals even in high latitude region of Himalaya be it in Nepal or Tibet. Even he is tiny by height, because of his mouthwatering dishes, he has always been praised high.
