  • Bhutan Classic trek Around Jumolhari starts at Paro and end at Doden near Thimpu. We follow the Pachu upstream passing through scattered hamlets and farmland, into a deep and richly forested valley, which further leads to a high alpine pastureland where yak herders graze their animals. The route passes through two high passes from Jangothang. The views of Jumolhari mountain (7314 M) from Jangothang is spectacular. Though this Jumolhari trek is strenuous but it is very popular. The highest point is 4115 M. Besides, Mt. Jumolhari and its adjoining ranges have impressed visitors to admit as one of the most beautiful peak. This round Jumolhari trek also offer s a taste of great variety of Bhutanese landscape and culture.

    Paro to Thimphu

    After B. fast drive to Thimphu whole day sightseeing. Thimphu evening drive back to Paro


  • Day 8
    Shana to Paro (End of Trek)

    Our transport will be waiting (at Drukgyal Dzong) to take us to the hotel in Paro,rest, Dinner and Overnight in Hotel at paro.


  • Day 7
    Thangthangka to Shana

    You can pass over many small streams and dense forest. Some time you can see lot of different wild animals. Overnight in Camp.


  • Day 6
    Jangothang to Thangthangka

    The pass different vegetation and you come across wonderful places for photography. Overnight in Camp.


  • Day 5
    Jangothang rest day

    A chance to walk up to the Jhomolhari glacier or to the Tsho Phu lakes on the opposite direction. Overnight in Camp.


  • Day 4
    Thangthangka to Jangothang

    In the morning after passing a small army post, the trail slowly leaves the forest line and gradually climbs into a beautiful valley, passing Tegethang, a winter home of yak herdsmen. Lunch will be served in one of these huts. Lots of yaks will be seen today before we arrive at the Jhomolhari base camp (4,115 m). High mountains overlook the camp and visible nearby are the ruins of an old fortress used to guard Bhutan against Tibetan invasions. Altitude 4,115 m; Distance 15 Km; Time 5 - 6 hours. Over night in Camp.


  • Day 3
    Shana to Thangthangka

    The trail follows the river through a heavily forested area with a few isolated farmhouses. It narrows and closes in and the trail winds up and down along the drainage. We pass a junction enroute, where another path leads north over the Tremo La to Tibet. Camp is in a meadow with a stone shelter. Altitude 3610 m; Distance 21 Km; Time 7 - 8 hours. Overnight in Camp.

    Paro to Shana (Start of Trek)

    Our trek to Shana starts at Drukgyal Dzong following the Paro river and we pass cultivated fields and tiny web picturesque villages. The forests are alive with numerous birds and brightly colored butterflies. Overnight at camp Shana. Altitude 2,820 m; Distance 14 Km; Time 5 - 6 hours. Overnight in Camp.

    Arrive at Paro

    During the flight, on a clear day, you can see breathtaking views of the Himalaya Mountains, including the sacred Jumolhari and Jichu Drake peaks in Bhutan. On arrival you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in in Hotel Tea coffee & lunch in Hotel. Afternoon: Half day Sightseeing of Paro valley, stroll in Paro Town.
